Ursula Roma (Class of 2011)
An earthquake and tsunami struck Japan during Ursula's stay in SF, leading to an evacuation and a hectic start to her trip. She still managed to get in lots of sight-seeing via public transportation. She particularly loved the Victorian painted ladies, individual forms of expression within a large anonymous city which seem to echo the diversity that the city is so well-known for.

Fortune Teller by Eric Wieringa (Class of 2011)
Eric stumbled on an old penny arcade at Fisherman's wharf in SF. Most of the machines were of an Art Nouveau style, restored from the early 20th century. After playing one of the classic fortune telling games he was inspired to make this image, illustrating the fortune that he received that day. This is Eric's tribute to the class of 2011 and all their future successes!
