Congratulations CQ26 Winners!

Congratulations to the winners of Creative Quarterly magazine's quarterly competition! Winners include alum Q. Cassetti (Class of 2010) who received recognition in both the Illustration and Graphic Design categories; incoming student Andrew Nilsen (Class of 2014), Art Director for the SF Weekly, who also won in both the Illustration and Graphic Design categories (and was invited to judge the next competition); and Amy DeVoogd (Class of 2012) who got notice in the Illustration category.
The winning images from the three entrants are too numerous to feature here, but some of them include above, clockwise from top left: Owl (Graphic Design) by Q. Andrew's Your Rags to Their Riches cover was also selected for the Communication Arts Typography Annual this year.
Both Q. and Andrew recently had their work accepted into the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles competition. A blog entry covering that group of winners is coming soon—stay tuned!
