Magge Gagliardi (Class of 2012) Scenic Designer for Pinkalicious

Magge Gagliardi (Class of 2012) has been busy these past weeks working as scenic designer for the Hartford Children's Theatre's presentation of Pinkalicious. The musical opened Friday night and is already sold out for it's entire run through October 9. The show is based on The New York Times best-selling children's book of the same name by Victoria and Elizabeth Kahn.

Magge not only designed the poster and the sets, but she also created a limited edition print commissioned by the theatre (above, left). An exhibition of her work, Mag-alicious, will be on display through the run of the show. Check out scenes from the show here.

Shayna Cochefski was Magge's assistant for the show. Those of you in the HAS MFA in Illustration program may remember Shayna, Carol's assistant last summer during the Hartford residency.
