The World We Live In by Chad Grohman (Class of 2010)

Take a few minutes out of your day to browse through Chad Grohman's (Class of 2010) recently completed project "The World We Live In", one hundred paintings completed between the months of April and August of this year. The paintings are done in gouache and watercolor on Arches hot press watercolor blocks and range from 5x7 inches to 14x11 inches. The work illustrates the environment in and around Buffalo, New York—from the east along the coast of Lake Ontario, to Cooperstown in the west. All of the original paintings can be seen as a collection on the site "The World We Live In" and will be available in a compiled book at chadgrohman.com this fall.
